an avian influenza outbreak seems imminent, and the fear of a possible mutation of the H5N1 strain puts men at the brink of a pandemic.. countries fight to secure tamiflu for their countries, and vigourously start the culling of millions of birds.. china is even set to start vaccinating 14 Billion birds.. and all of us point our finger at the culprit, domesticated fowls who cannot resist the virus.. however, the creatures currently suffering now are the innocent fowls, which are killed by the truckloads, never knowing why they had to be bred in cramped quarters then killed without ever tasting freedom..
